Allen Valdez

Jazz Guitarist

Raised in Lovington New Mexico, Allen Valdez would attend nearby Eastern New Mexico University and spend his time performing in various concerts, clinics, festivals, and private events as a guitarist in the ENMU Jazz Band Ensemble. He would later start EarthShined, a Jazz Fusion trio, with their first single “Odyssey” debuting on January 13th, 2023. Lately Allen has been focused on performing on solo acoustic guitar to immerse himself in the coffeehouse culture. His acoustic music is submerged in Jazz and the calm atmosphere from entertaining lovers of coffee. His music is heavily influenced by varied acts such as Charlie Parker, Adam Neely, and Julian Lage. Allen’s writing comes from a compositional approach to create an imaginative atmosphere.
